Welcome to this website!
It is the mission of this Association to advance training in police firearms and officer safety, and to provide a means through which law enforcement firearms instructors may exchange ideas and experiences;
To promote and secure cooperation and coordination in law enforcement firearms training between all agencies and the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission, and other organizations engaged in such training;
To encourage all police agencies to provide advanced training in the use of firearms to all personnel who are required to carry firearms in the course of their duties;
To promote the adherence of all police officers to a high degree of proficiency and safety with firearms;
To provide an avenue of communication to all agencies interested in the development and administration of police firearms training in this state;
To promote and encourage the use of state-wide standards in firearms training programs;
